Hello everyone! This is Laura. We all arrived safely last night, or actually this morning, around 3am and are now in LanHouse where you pay 80 cents an hour to use the internet, so this is how we will be updating the blog. Travels went well, no one was stopped in security and all our bags made it through. Praise God for that! we all slept in our redis - pronounced Hedgies , or hammocks - and thoroughly enjoyed them :). Jonny´s family came to eat lunch with us today and we met some of the counselors. Tomorrow we will be serving in a local church and monday campers start to arrive. Please pray for us to continue to adapt to the culture - waking up to roosters, monkeys and cold showers is quite an experience - and for us to not be limited by the language barrier, especially with the teens. Pray that we will be a blessing to Jonny´s family and the people here at the camp as we try to serve to the best of our ability. We love you all and should be loading pictures soon of our crazy adventures here in Brazil. Tchau!

Hannah or really anybody...there has been a request from VBS staff to find out if the hammocks you are using are coming home with you or if there is a way to purchase one or more to be used in the "Amazon Jungle" at West Cannon at the end of July if there would be room to bring some back,,,give me some feed back about this to see how feasible this would be...thanks guys...have a good day. Mrs. Bradley
